MINNEAPOLIS (May 17, 2017) – Twin Cities Pride today announced the 2017 Pride Presents comedians Tig Notaro with special guest Fortune Feimster.
Twin Cities Pride is excited to announce their lineup for Pride Presents! Well-known comedian Tig Notaro with special guest Fortune Feimster will be performing on Thursday, June 22 at the State Theatre. Tig Notaro is a comedian, actor and writer originally from Mississippi, who Rolling Stone named one of the 50 best stand-up comics of all time. Tig writes, produces and stars in the semi-autobiographical Amazon series, One Mississippi. Fortune Feimster, who first made a name for herself as a performer and writer on Chelsea Lately, has quickly risen to new heights having sold an autobiographical TV pilot with Tina Fey and is now in a recurring role as Nurse Collette on The Mindy Project. Join us in welcoming these two hilarious women to the stage and help kick off Pride weekend!

About Tig Notaro
Tig Notaro is a comedian, actor and writer originally from Mississippi, who Rolling Stone named one of the 50 best stand-up comics of all time. Tig writes, produces and stars in the semi-autobiographical Amazon series, One Mississippi. Season 1 yielded several nominations including – WGA, GLAAD and The Critic’s Choice Awards. Tig was also nominated for an Emmy as well as a Grammy for her 2016 HBO special Boyish Girl Interrupted, a GLAAD Award nomination for the Netflix Original Documentary Tig, and her memoir I’m Just a Person is a New York Times Bestseller.
In 2013, Tig was nominated for a Grammy Award for her sophomore release, Live, which sold over 100,000 units in just six weeks. Fortune Feimster, who first made a name for herself as a performer and writer on “Chelsea Lately,” has quickly risen to new heights having sold an autobiographical TV pilot with Tina Fey and is now in a recurring role as Nurse Collette on “The Mindy Project.” Fortune first made her TV debut in 2010 on “Last Comic Standing” where she finished as a semi-finalist. Since then, Variety named her one of their “Top 10 Comics to Watch” in 2014. She’s appeared on “Glee,” “Two Broke Girls,” “Workaholics,” “Drunk History,” “@Midnight,” and “Conan.” She’s also had a recurring role on Fox’s “Mulaney” and E’s “After Lately.” When not acting, Fortune is headlining standup comedy clubs all over the country.
