NAMI Minnesota’s 2017 State Conference, “Advocacy in Action,” will be held Nov. 4, at the St. Paul RiverCentre. Keynote speakers include Gayathri Ramprasad, MBA, CPS and Sophia Vinogradov, MD. The conference is sponsored in part by Janssen, Vail Place, Nystrom & Associates, Northstar Problem Gambling, Recovering Hope Treatment Center, and Mental Health Minnesota.

This year, we will have 18 breakout sessions for young adults and adults living with a mental illness, family members and partners of those living with a mental illness, students, professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about mental illnesses and advocacy. Our full conference agenda is available on our registration page. 5 CEU hours have been approved for social workers by the Board of Social Work (CEP-83). Additional CEUs are pending, and will be posted as they are finalized. NAMI Minnesota’s annual awards luncheon will take place at 11:30am; the annual meeting will take place at 4:30pm.

The cost is $60 for members, $100 for non-members, or $35 for students. Lunch is included. Limited partial scholarships for youth and adults are available – contact Briana Libby at blibby@namimn.org for more information.
