Grand Marshal Reception
We are proud to announce the 2026 Grand Marshal: Our Community.
For those we stand shoulder to shoulder with, those we carry, and those whose memory we carry forward.
This year, we honor the strength, care, and resilience of Minnesota’s LGBTQIA2S+ community, our friends, neighbors, organizers, artists, elders, youth, and chosen family, who continue to show up for one another in moments of both joy and challenge.
In a time when many in our community are navigating uncertainty, visibility, and safety in different ways, this Grand Marshal recognizes the full spectrum of who we are: those standing proudly side by side, those who cannot be present, and those we have lost but will never forget.
Across the Twin Cities and throughout Minnesota, our community has always been defined by how we care for one another, how we show up, how we hold each other, and how we keep moving forward together.
Together, we will walk in solidarity, honoring those beside us, lifting up those who need support, and carrying forward the legacies that guide us.
Because our community is not just who is here, it is everyone we hold.
GRAND MARSHAL RECEPTION JUNE 4TH
Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory as we gather to celebrate our 2026 Grand Marshal, Our Community—for those we stand shoulder to shoulder with, those we carry, and those whose memory we carry forward.
From 6:30–10:00 PM, guests will enjoy a vibrant night of connection and celebration featuring a cocktail hour, silent auction, appetizers, photo booth, and a seated dinner. Together, we will honor this year’s community award recipients and hold space for the resilience, care, and solidarity that define Minnesota’s LGBTQIA2S+ community.
Set within the beauty of the conservatory, this evening invites us to come together in joy, remembrance, and collective action—celebrating not only who is in the room, but everyone we hold with us.
Dress code: Monochromatic Magic — pick a single color inspired by the Pride flag or rainbow and dress entirely in that hue. Our community brings the color—together, we create the spectrum.
