LGBTQ+ Catholic Youth Summit @ Christ the King Church | Minneapolis | Minnesota | United States

Join the LGBTQ+ and Allied Catholic Student Coalition for a day full of conversation, learning, and action to improve the climate for LGBTQ+ individuals in Catholic environments, and the lives of LGBTQ+ Catholics in LGBTQ+ ones! Creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people of faith is the main goal of this event, and is fundamental to the work of the LGBTQ+ and Allied Catholic Student Coaliton.

We will begin the day with mass, followed by a keynote speech from Kristen Ostendorf (a former teacher at Totino Grace Catholic High School, who currently works at Call to Action, a Catholic social justice group), lunch, and a series of workshops. Bring your friends, family, clergy, students, teachers, and an open mind.

The event is sponsored by the LGBTQ Catholic Student Coalition, OutFront MN, and the Justice Office of the Sister’s of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
