HONORING OUR LOCAL HEROES.
The mission of Twin Cities Pride is to create experiences that bring the greater GLBT community together to commemorate our diverse heritage, foster inclusion, educate and create awareness of issues, and celebrate achievements in equality.

Twin Cities Champions of Pride award winners exemplify our mission through their work in the community. All award winners are recognized at the annual Grand Marshal Reception and Pride Art Exhibition. Additionally, they hold places of honor in the annual Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade.

Nominations for the 2017 Champions of Pride Awards are now being accepted until March 17, 2017.

Twin Cities Pride is Hiring! @ Twin Cities Pride

Twin Cities Pride is recruiting for a Festival Operations Coordinator to join our team of 2 paid staff and 25 volunteer staff members.  The Coordinator works with Pride’s vendors to ensure a positive and seamless experience at the annual Pride Festival.

The Coordinator is responsible for communication with and registration of Festival vendors and exhibitors, as well as communication with potential Parade units. This person also works with the Community Relations Manager to track/assist with marketing efforts and works with the Festival Manager and Executive Director to coordinate other activities related to Festival Management.

Persons of Color and/or Transgender persons strongly encouraged to apply.

Participate in the Women’s March on Washington right here in Minnesota!  On Saturday, January, 21 gather between 10:00 – 10:30 am near the John Ireland Boulevard Bridge and the March will begin at 11:00 am.  Rally will be from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the State Capitol.  Women, children and men – everyone – welcome!

Queer and Trans Family Support Conference @ AGAPE School

The Queer and Trans Youth Family Support Conference is a full day community event for the families, guardians, caretakers, and educators of LGBTQ+ children and youth to learn and grow together around developing health, wellness, and resilience.

The event strives to create open dialogue across racial and cultural backgrounds around LGBTQ+ children and youth in:

  • workshops
  • speakers
  • activities
  • entertainment
  • community building

This event is hosted by the Saint Paul Public School’s Gender and Sexual Diversity Parent Advisory Council. It is sponsored by Minneapolis Public Schools, The Bridge for Youth, and Saint Paul Public Schools.

Teachers and educators may receive clock hours from Saint Paul Public Schools based on their participation in the event.

Meals and childcare are provided to all pre-registered participants. The event hosts are committed to providing an accessible event. The anticipated cost per person for food, speakers, and materials is estimated at $25. Donations and contributions are appreciated and will support future programming. No cost registration is available.
