2008 Grand Marshal's Ball

Tickets Now On Sale

Don't miss the 2008 Grand Marshal's Ball, Saturday, May 17 at the Graves|601 Hotel ballroom in downtown Minneapolis.  This annual event serves as a celebration of the many great accomplishments of the GLBT community in the Twin Cities.  It is also the event where we introduce the new Grand Marshal to the community and provide a preview of this year's upcoming Pride Celebration.

Twin Cities Pride is proud to announce the 2008 Grand Marshal of the Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade, former Minnesota Civil Liberties Union executive director Dr. Matthew Stark.

In addition to the Grand Marshal, we will be honoring the winners of the 2008 Pride Community Awards.  Community Pride recipient Minnesota GLBTA Campus Alliance, Everyday Hero Award recipient Adam Robbins and Corporate Achievement recipient SUPERVALU.  For complete details about this year's recipients, please visit our Pride Awards section.

The Silent Auction at the Grand Marshal's Ball serves as Pride's singular fundraiser of the year.

Doors will open at 6:00pm beginning with a cocktail reception and a silent auction, followed by a succulent dinner and a brief awards ceremony. Then, dance the night away to sounds provided by a professional DJ.

All are welcome to attend.  Tickets will be available on this web site beginning in March.  Tickets are $75 per person, or $750 for a table seating 10.

This event will be ASL interpreted.
