The 2010 Pride Picnic will be held on Sunday, June 20 from 11am to 2pm in Saint Paul's Como Park at the East Picnic Pavilions.
What could be a better opportunity on this day than to head to a GLBT outing that even Dad would love? This free event provides yummy grilled fare, old-fashioned races, table games and softball. Complimentary picnic fare will be served as well.
Pride will be working with several community organizations to co-produce this event. Each group that participates will be responsible for one area such as food, games and other needs.
For the afternoon, picnic-goers will head to the Pride Picnic where they will be able to satiate a hearty appetite with various salads, bottled water, soft drinks, coffee, hamburgers and hot dogs cooked on an amazing grill the size of a Volkswagen. A vegetarian option will be included as well.
Free food! With no sign up and free admission, we made it easy and accessible for you and your family to spend a joyous day of fun outdoors. Of course, volunteers are welcome to help with setup, cleanup and game organization. Those interested are encouraged to check out our Get Involved section.
