Twin Cities Pride

Thank you for your interest in supporting Twin Cities Pride 2011, the Midwest’s largest GLBT Festival and Parade. The mission of Twin Cities Pride is to commemorate and celebrate our diverse heritage, inspire the achievement of equality and challenge discrimination. Twin Cities Pride offers unique opportunities for outreach into the GLBT community.

The Pride Festival and the Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade take place on the last full weekend of June to commemorate the Stonewall Riots of June 1969. Stonewall, as it has become known, has been largely credited for beginning the modern-day GLBT human rights movement in the United States and around the world.

Since 1972, Twin Cities Pride has organized highly successful Pride events. In 2009, it is estimated that the Twin Cities Pride Festival and Parade provided over $50 million in revenue for local businesses. With over 300,000 participants sharing in the celebration throughout the week, our corporate, non-profit, and scholastic partners enjoy excellent consumer marketing and recruitment opportunities to reach a large, diverse and visible community with high discretionary income levels.

Thanks to generous partners like you, Twin Cities Pride remains one of the few Pride Festivals in the U.S. that is open and free to the public.
