Grand Marshal’s Reception

Don't miss the 2010 Grand Marshal's Reception, Thursday, June 10 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at The Art Institutes International Minnesota in downtown Minneapolis (Ai Minnesota). This annual event serves as a celebration of the many great accomplishments of the GLBT community in the Twin Cities. Come socialize with members of the community and enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, live jazz, tours of the Ai Minnesota campus and a silent auction. An awards presentation will feature the recognition of the Twin Cities Pride Community Award winners and formally introduce the 2010 Twin Cities Pride Grand Marshal.
Twin Cities Pride Community Award Winners are as follows:
Grand Marshal — Dr. Stan Hill, Artistic Director, Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus
Everyday Hero Award — Paul and Hjordy Wagner (authors of “Ready or Not…. They’re Gay: Stories from a Midwestern Family”)
Corporate Achievement Award — Target Corporation
Community Pride Award — PFund Foundation
Funds raised at this event will not only help support the many events produced by Twin Cities Pride, but a portion of the proceeds will benefit Ai Minnesota Alliance, the GLBT student organization at The Art Institutes International Minnesota that provides outreach, advocacy and educational activities for members of the student body.
All are welcome to attend.
