The Volunteer Director is a voting member of Pride's board of directors and is responsible for managing a pool of about 200 community volunteers which are used to make the Pride Celebration events possible. Duties include volunteer recruitment and retention, scheduling and acting as the manager of volunteer staff at Pride Events. In addition, the Volunteer Director plans the annual Volunteer Appreciation Party in July of each year.

Ideal candidates for this position will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable recruiting volunteers and have good organizational skills. Members of underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply. This is a volunteer position.
