The President is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization and follows up with the other Officers and the Directors to ensure that all needs are being met. In addition, the President acts as Chair of board meetings, plans and organizes the Planning Retreat in the fall and mediates any disputes between board members. The President does not vote on matters before the board, except to create or break a tie vote. This Historian and the Assistant to the president are staff positions which report to the President. |
