The mission of Twin Cities Pride is to create experiences that bring the greater GLBT community together to commemorate our diverse heritage, foster inclusion, educate and create awareness of issues, and celebrate achievements in equality.
Twin Cities Champions of Pride award winners exemplify our mission through their work in the community. All award winners are recognized at the annual Grand Marshal Reception and Pride Art Exhibition. Additionally, they hold places of honor in the annual Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade.
Nominations for the 2017 Champions of Pride Awards are now being accepted until March 17, 2017.
Twin Cities Pride is recruiting for a Festival Operations Coordinator to join our team of 2 paid staff and 25 volunteer staff members. The Coordinator works with Pride’s vendors to ensure a positive and seamless experience at the annual Pride Festival.
The Coordinator is responsible for communication with and registration of Festival vendors and exhibitors, as well as communication with potential Parade units. This person also works with the Community Relations Manager to track/assist with marketing efforts and works with the Festival Manager and Executive Director to coordinate other activities related to Festival Management.

One Voice returns to the Ordway for Well-Versed, a celebration of LGBTQ youth and an evening of choral music, strings and poetry with New York’s hottest string quartet, Well-Strung. Inspired by the poetry of local LGBTQ youth, Well-Versed also features the premiere of a three-movement composition for One Voice and Well-Strung sponsored by the American Composer’s Forum with text by poetry slam champion, Sierra DeMulder, and music by composer George Maurer. Youth poets from RECLAIM, a local community organization offering support to queer and trans youth, are featured as spoken word artists.
